Raes is a real estate franchise chain that originated in Santa Fe Capital, Argentina, currently expanding across the country with plans to enter international markets. With a growing network of franchises and agents operating across multiple locations, Raes faced a common but critical challenge: key business data was scattered across disconnected sources — an on-premise SQL Server, a proprietary CRM, and multiple Excel files managed independently by different franchise branches.
This fragmentation made it difficult to monitor sales performance, track property inventory, and evaluate agent productivity in a reliable and timely way. Without a unified view of the business, decision-making was slow and often based on incomplete or inconsistent information.Raes turned to our team to design and implement a Business Intelligence solution that would bring order to their data, provide real-time visibility into key metrics, and support the company's continued growth.

Over the course of three months, our team developed a comprehensive Business Intelligence solution built on Microsoft Power BI, designed to centralize Raes' operational data and turn it into actionable insights for management and franchise stakeholders.
We began by mapping the company's data landscape — analyzing CRM workflows, identifying information gaps, and assessing the quality of existing data sources. This diagnostic phase revealed inconsistencies in stock counts and agent metrics that were silently distorting key figures across the organization.
To address these gaps, we designed standardized Excel templates with built-in data validation and dropdown controls, ensuring that data entered by each franchise team was structured and reliable from the start. These templates, along with user guides, report documentation, and a support contact page, were hosted on a centralized SharePoint site that served as the single point of access for all BI resources.
With clean, structured data flowing from both the on-premise SQL Server and the SharePoint-hosted Excel files, we built a unified data model and developed a suite of management dashboards in Power BI. Row-Level Security (RLS) was implemented to ensure that each franchise could only access its own data, while executives retained a full organizational view — all within the same report.
Throughout the project, we held regular meetings with the Raes team to validate designs, incorporate feedback, and align the dashboards with the company's brand identity. The project concluded with an on-site presentation and training session for brokers and stakeholders, ensuring confident and consistent adoption of the tool across the organization.
Data from the on-premise SQL Server and multiple SharePoint-hosted Excel sources was integrated and modeled into a single, reliable source of truth, eliminating the fragmentation that previously hindered visibility across the franchise network.
A suite of interactive dashboards was built in Power BI, giving management and franchise teams a real-time view of the KPIs that matter most — covering sales performance, property inventory, and agent activity.
Data access was controlled at the model level, automatically filtering information based on each user's franchise. This allowed the same reports to serve both individual franchises and corporate leadership, with no additional configuration required.
Excel templates with data validation rules and dropdown controls were designed to close information gaps identified during the CRM analysis, ensuring consistent and reliable data entry across all franchise branches.
A centralized SharePoint site was set up as the single access point for all BI resources, including data entry guides, report documentation, direct links to Power BI, and a support contact page for ongoing assistance.
Inconsistencies affecting property stock counts and agent metrics were identified and resolved, significantly improving the reliability of the information available to decision-makers.
All dashboards were designed following Raes' brand identity guidelines, ensuring a coherent and professional visual experience for every user across the network.
An on-site training session was conducted for brokers and stakeholders, complemented by documentation and support resources on SharePoint, to drive confident adoption of the solution throughout the organization.
